Pilar de la Horadada is a municipality in the south of the province of Alicante adjoining the Region of Murcia and which until 1986 belonged to the municipality of Orihuela. Thanks to the proximity of San Javier Airport (Murcia) many of its residents are foreigners.
The development of the city is due to two fundamental pillars that are agriculture, residential tourism and the privileged climate that we have throughout the Mediterranean coast.
