THESE CONDITIONS ARE DESCRIBED IN THE RENTAL CONTRACT THAT IS SIGNED ON COLLECTION OF THE VEHICLE.
Special conditions for the rent
The minimum age is 23 years, driver's license to be held for more than 2 years.
Customers under 25 years will pay a surcharge of 5 €/day with a maximum bonus of 60 €uros.
Payment terms are:
-Credit card : Visa and MasterCard.
-We do not accept debit card, Diners Club, American Express or cash.
-The credit card must be in the name of the person named as primary driver of the rental agreement or authorized as a driver.
Included in our rates:
-VAT and local tax rates.
-Returns or delivery to another location other than that of collection.
-Full insurance with excess from 600€ (A,A+,B, B2,C, C1) y 800€ (C2, E, E2,F, F1, F2,G, G1, H).
Baby seats or booster seats free if necessary. (Season between 20th June and September with extra charge of 3 € / day with max. 45 €uros in baby chairs and 2 € / day with max. 30 €uros in booster seats).
-Second driver: FREE.
What is not included in our rates:
-Third Additional Driver, 15 € per rental with a maximum of 3 drivers per contract.
-Insurance without excess
-Vehicle deliveries between 22:00 and 08:00 at the airports of Alicante and Murcia have an extra charge of 18 €
- Home deliveries will be made at the opening hours of the offices
-You can not travel outside Spain including Islas Baleares, Canarias or Ceuta and Melilla -
-Delivery of vehicles outside the area of Torrevieja or Cabo Roig have an extra charge of € 15 (maximum delivery distance 20 kilometers)
Important information at the time of pick up / return of vehicle:
-It is necessary to make a reservation before collecting the vehicle.
-You must present your passport or identity card, driving license and a credit card valid at the time of pick-up. The credit card must be in the name of the person who made the reservation and must be shown by the owner on collection of the vehicle.
-Damage insurance (CDW) in any case does not include damage to tyres, rims, hubcaps, underbody, clutch, engine crankcase, catalyst and radiator, inside the vehicle, inside and outside rearview mirror, moons, locks, loss or theft of the keys.
-There is the possibility of additional insurance to cover all or part of these risks. Customers who do not wish to purchase such insurance are required to leave a deposit for the value of the franchise.
- If the vehicle is returned more than 1 hour late, on completion of the contract there will be a charge of 25 € for the delay.
-We cannot guarantee a particular make,model or colour of vehicle, only a car from the group which you have booked.
-If the vehicle receives a ticket during the rental period you will be responsible to pay the fine.
The client must choose one of the following from the companies fuel policies.
FULL - EMPTY
If the customer chooses this option, FULL tank of fuel must be paid for at the time of booking. The cost will depend on the market price of fuel and fuel type. When choosing this option any remaining fuel left in the tank on return of the vehicle will not be refunded.
Like the full-empty option, the deposit shall be paid at time of booking.If the customer chooses this alternative you will have to refill the car to the amount needed to leave FULL again. If the vehicle is not returned FULL the cost of the amount of fuel needed to top up the tank will be deducted from the deposit plus a management fee for filling of 20€.
For rentals of 21 days or more, this option does not apply therefore will have to choose the Full-Empty.
Rental rates include compulsory insurance for damages against third parties arising from the use and circulation of vehicle insurance with excess of 600 € (A, B, B2,C, C1) and 800 € (C2,D, E, E2, F, F1, G, G1 and H).
Excluded from the insurance:
a. Damage to tires, rims, vehicle interior, exterior mirrors, glass and under carriage.
b. Tyre punctures or blowouts.
c. Damage to the clutch.
d. Wrong fuel refilling.
e. Loss of keys
f. Damage or loss of radio antenna jack, warning triangle, vest,
wipers, gas cap, parcel shelf or other mobile or fixed component of the vehicle.
These can be covered in part by the specific insurance contract by paying an extra amount.
Extra Coverage: This insurance covers covers windows, tires, rims and body of the vehicle. The charge is 5€/day in groups A, B, B2,C and C1(min. 25 € and max. 75 €). Groups C2, E, E2, F, F1, G, G1 and H 6€ (min 30€ and max. 90€). This insurance does not include interior, lights, aerials or keys.
Chair for children:
If you need chairs for children under three years or older if they do not exceed the height of 1.50 meters, the customer can be provided with all necessary seats but does not included fitting into the vehicle. The installation of the seats is always the client’s responsibility.
Theft and loss of objects of the vehicle:
LUZCARS are not be liable under any circumstances for the stolen, forgotten or lost items left inside the vehicle during the rental period. Any items left inside the vehicle will be kept for a period of 3 months from the date of return of the vehicle. Once past that date clients will not be able to collect any lost items.
In case of accident the client must:
Obtain and submit within forty-eight hours after the accident occurs, full details of the opposing party, witnesses if any, by completing an accident report located in the glove compartment of the vehicle with the vehicle documentation detailing the registration, the name and address of the opposing party, the circumstances of the collision, a sketch of the accident, the name of the insurer and the insurance policy number, all signed by both drivers involved in the accident.
Immediately notify the relevant authorities.
Do not leave the rented vehicle without taking adequate measures to protect it.
In case of fire, vandalism, vehicle theft the client agrees to make to the relevant authorities, the complaint of the facts, providing a copy to LUZCARS within a maximum of twenty-four hours.
Duration of contract:
The contract copy given to the client on commencement of hire will specify details of hire. The date and time of delivery and branch, branch hours and return details of the vehicle.
If the customer decides to terminate the hire period before the date specified in the lease, a different tariff rate may apply.
On return of the vehicle, if it needs a thorough and intensive cleaning because of the state in which the vehicle is returned, LUZCARS may charge, in its discretion € 60 SPECIAL cleaning fee.
Extension of Contract:
The customer must return the vehicle on the date, time and place as specified in the paragraph, of the contract duration. If the client wishes to extend the rent the company must be given 24 hours prior notice. The contract must be renewed and paid for and the client must go to one of our offices to sign the extension LUZCARS. No contract can be extended by telephone or other electronic media.
If the period of hire cannot be extended due to vehicle unavailability or for any other reason the client must return the vehicle on the date time and branch stated and as agreed in the contract.
Return of vehicle:
The customer must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was delivered along with all documents, tyres, tools and accessories at the date and time agreed in the lease.
Return the vehicle before the agreement period has expired:
The rental period is stated in the agreement and, if the vehicle is returned earlier, there will be no refund for the services paid.
Failure to return the vehicle:
Clients must return the vehicle on the agreed date, time and office branch as set in the contract. Failure to comply authorses LUZCARS to debit the rental for the late return and additional days. Compensation charges for inconvenience to LUZCARS may also apply.
Right to cancel:
LUZCARS reserves the right to cancel the contract early or with immediate effect and without compensation for any of the following information:
-On the customer's financial capacity, for a history of defaults or serious incidents with our company or any other of the car hire sector.
-That the customer is in breach of contract in any of its variants.
-That the customer is using the vehicle for unauthorized vehicle use.
